- 1970–1975 studied at Yerevan State University
- 1977–1979 studied at the Yerevan University of Marxism-Leninism
- 1975–1997 worked at the Shahumyan branch of "ARMECONOMBANK" OJSC, holding positions of credit inspector, engineer-economist, head of the credit department, as well as head of the lending and financing department
- 1997–2000 worked at "Aroghjapahutyun" CJSC as Deputy Director of Finance
- 2000–2003 worked at "Gladzorbank" CJSC as an internal auditor
- 2004 – 30.06.2009 held the position of auditor/inspector
- 01.07.2009 – 08.06.2010 held the position of Deputy Executive Director
- From 08.06.2010 to present holds the position of Executive Director of "GLADZOR UCO" CJSC
- In 2002 received a qualification certificate from the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia to work as a bank executive director, deputy executive director, member of the executive board, and manager of a foreign bank branch
- At the end of Q4 2008 received a "B" plus class banking consultant certificate from the Retraining Academy of the United Kingdom
